Huascaran Sur.  22,132 feet Peru.

As many of you know, our Pakistan Trip was cancelled for obvious reasons.  We then turned our sights on South America and Peru specifically.  Huascaran is our target and we intend to give ourselves at least two weeks to make our bid.  Below is information on the climb and Cordillera Blanca for those who might be interested.  It's just me and Brian (Bugsy) and we depart Atlanta on June 18.  Unfortunately, we have no way of sending updates as yet but intend to post a full trip report upon our return.  This mountain is fickle, some years there is good summit success and some years it is totally unclimbable.  We intend to follow the garganta route and establish 3 camps to place ourselves in line for the summit.  Acclimatization is key on this mountain and we don't want to rush things.  We will attempt to post as many updates as possible on the highlander guest comments page but don't expect much, we have no method for dispatches on this mountain, it's fairly remote.  here for updates.
